Getting started
Import your clients
If your clients are in a spreadsheet or another salon software, export them as a CSV file and import them into GESTYN in a few minutes. Importing is for the salon owner.
Prepare your file
- Export a CSV file from your previous software, or save your spreadsheet as CSV.
- One client per row. A first row with column names makes the next step easier.
- Every client needs a name. Phone, email and the other details are optional.
Import it
- Open Clients and click Import CSV.
- Choose your file.
- Under Import as, match each column of your file to a client field. Columns set to “Don't import” are ignored.
- Check the preview and start the import.
Good to know
- Clients who already exist, with the same email or phone, are skipped. Importing the same file twice is safe.
- Rows without a name are skipped, and an invalid email address is left empty.
- At the end, GESTYN shows how many clients were imported, skipped or rejected.
