Delete your account

You can delete your GESTYN account yourself, in the GESTYN app or on the web. You don't need to reinstall the app or write to us.

1. In the GESTYN app

Open My profile › Delete my account, enter your password and confirm.

2. On the web

Sign in at gestyn.ch, open My profile and choose Delete my account. Enter your password and confirm.

3. If you work in a salon

Your login and your personal details are erased at once, and you are signed out on every device. The appointments you took care of stay with the salon, without your name.

4. If you own the salon

Deleting the owner's account closes the salon: its subscription is cancelled and the salon becomes read only. 30 days later, the salon's personal data is erased: clients, team members, notes and photos. Until then, the same page offers Keep my salon.

5. What is kept

The bookkeeping records the law requires us to keep — invoices, payments, and the salon's name and billing address — are kept without personal data.
