GESTYN is operated by Gestyn SNC in Granges-Paccot, Fribourg. Your data is hosted in Switzerland, under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), and our practices also follow the GDPR.
Locked down by default
Encrypted connections, hashed passwords, sign-in protection against guessing, rate limits and a web application firewall that filters malicious requests.
Each person sees what they need
The owner controls what each team member can see and do, down to whose agenda they can read or change. Those rules are enforced on our servers, not just hidden in the app.
Yours to take with you
Export your clients, or your whole salon, whenever you like. We never sell your data and we show no advertising.

Where exactly is my data stored?
On servers in Switzerland. Some providers we rely on, such as Stripe for payments and Telnyx for SMS, process the data they need for their task under recognised safeguards; they are listed in our privacy policy.
Who is responsible for my clients' data?
Your salon remains the controller of your clients' data; GESTYN processes it on your behalf. For your account and billing data, GESTYN is the controller.
Can I get my data back if I leave?
Yes. Export your client list and your accounting files at any time, also before closing your account, and ask us for a complete copy of your salon's data. How to export.
