Close the day
Closing the day compares the cash in your till with what GESTYN expects.
Close the day
- The register opens by itself with the first payment of the day.
- At the end of the day, go to Register › Close the day.
- Count the cash in the till and enter the amount. Any difference is shown before you confirm.
Cash in and out
Took cash to the bank, or added change to the till? Record it in Register › Cash in/out so the count stays right.
A day closed too early
You can reopen it from the same page.
Forgot to close a day?
Nothing is blocked: each day is independent, so the next day's sales still go through. GESTYN reminds you of any day that is still open.
